Taste of Kona

Join Hawaii AgVentures; the working agritourism project of the Big Island Farm Bureau on a narrated journey that combines the people, foods and farms of Hawaii into an experience of diverse culture, extraordinary produce and natural beauty.  Step off the beaten path and visit the rural farmlands of Hawaii “Hawaiian Style.” You will travel to the 1300 ft. elevation up the slopes of Hualalai volcano for a chocolate lover’s dream!  Experience a tour of the Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory, the only micro-processing factory in the U.S. that processes chocolate from the Cacao bean to the candy wrapper.  Your second stop will be a guided tour of the award winning Kona Joe Coffee Farm, where coffee is “grown like grapes.”  Learn how their 100% Kona Coffee is grown and processed in their state of the art roasting facility.  The tour includes a fresh treat made from local grown products and fresh gourmet Kona coffee served on their picturesque lanai.  Our third and final farm stop is Kona Natural Soap Company; where they combine all natural and exotic ingredients including Hawaiian cocoa, Kona coffee and Kukui Nut oil into a luxurious line of handcrafted soap products. At each stop you will have an opportunity for questions and answers and to purchase unique items directly from the farms.

Tour Duration 4 Hours; Includes Fresh baked muffin & fruit Snack, Coffee, Water & 3 farm Stops

 Adult & Children’s pricing available; Infants are not charged.

 This Tour is offered directly through the Shore Excursion provider from several cruise lines & is available for independent groups.

 Moderate physical activity required.  Guests must be able to walk on uneven surfaces and steep grades for maximum 20 minute durations. 

Cancellations: Unless otherwise specified, 48 hour cancellation is required.  With less than 48 hours, guests will be charged full price of tour.  NO shows will incur full charges with No refund.  Claims for refunds must be made within thirty, (30) days from the date of service.
